on your Mac.

goodStats processes system readings locally. The app has no account, advertising, analytics, telemetry or third-party tracking SDKs.

goodStats is provided by Free Speed Studio, owned by Alrik-Jerrit Kampfert, based in Hennef, Germany.

System information stays on your Mac

goodStats reads system information on your Mac to show CPU, memory, disk, network, battery, thermal and GPU hardware details. This can include local network interface names and IP addresses, volume names and capacity, and hardware or battery readings.

The app processes these readings locally and does not transmit them to Free Speed Studio or third parties.

goodStats does not require an account. The app includes no advertising, analytics, telemetry or third-party tracking SDKs. Free Speed Studio does not collect system readings from the app.

Local storage

goodStats saves display preferences locally using macOS preferences. Short chart history and cached battery-health readings are held in memory and are not uploaded. The app does not create a persistent database of system readings.

Battery health is read from built-in macOS reports when requested. The app retains the health values it needs and discards unrelated report details, including battery serial numbers and scheduled power events.

macOS may store local diagnostic messages. goodStats does not upload those messages to Free Speed Studio. Apple may separately process information under its own policies when you use macOS or the App Store.

Contact and support

If you choose to contact Free Speed Studio by email, you decide what to include in your message. Your email address and the contents of the message are shared through your email service and received by Free Speed Studio for responding to your inquiry. They are not automatically sent by goodStats.

Avoid including confidential information or screenshots containing local IP addresses unless they are relevant to your request.
